Cailin Clark, Aliyah Boston make WNBA history during Indiana Fever game

Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston are widely regarded as one of the best duos in the WNBA today. The Indiana Fever stars’ dominance was on full display on Thursday, making history with their performances.

The superstar guard and the three-time All-Star recorded a 30-point double-double each to lead their team past the Chicago Sky 114-106. Clark finished with 32 points and 10 assists, while Boston registered 34 points and 12 rebounds. They became the first set of teammates to achieve the feat in league history.

The WNBA posted the news on X.

Indiana struggled in the first 10 games of the season with a 5-5 record. However, Clark and Boston has guided the team to back-to-back victories and a 3-1 start to the Commissioner’s Cup. The Fever are looking to defend their Cup title.

Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston and the Fever’s upcoming schedule

Clark, Boston and the Fever have a lot of momentum on their side. They are now 7-5 ahead of a matchup with the Connecticut Sun on the road on Saturday. Winning three in a row would further boost their morale before they play six of their next seven games at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

The 2024 Rookie of the Year averages 18.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 7.9 assists for the season. Boston, on the other hand, produces 15.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game. They are favorites to earn All-Star nods again this year and Indiana will rely heavily on them in its championship quest.
