The Cleveland Browns have been one of the better teams in the NFL to start the season, now sitting at 3-1.

One of the biggest NFL storylines is whether the Browns can keep playing at this level and what they want to do ahead of the NFL trade deadline. There are a couple of ways to look at what the Browns could do, including buying and selling.

Cleveland doesn’t feel like a Super Bowl contender by any means, but it might like what it has built and try to keep building on it. That would mean that certain veterans aren’t available, though there is a feeling around the league that Jerry Jeudy could be available.

A recent trade proposal would see the Browns move Jeudy to a wide receiver-needy team in the Tennessee Titans. The Titans have been among the most disappointing teams in the NFL to start this season, with youngster Cam Ward not having enough weapons.

Tennessee Titans receive: WR Jerry Jeudy

Cleveland Browns receive: RB Tony Pollard

“The Tennessee Titans are off to an 0-4 start for the second consecutive season. While they’ve shown glimpses of improvement, this franchise still has a long way to go.

“Although Tennessee is probably gearing up for a fire sale that will see veterans like Tony Pollard, Calvin Ridley and Jeffery Simmons sent off in exchange for draft capital around the trade deadline, the club could try to find a comfortable middle ground by dealing for a youthful talent who can help in 2026 and beyond,” Bleacher Report wrote.

If the Browns were to move on from a player right now, it’s safe to say a guy like Jeudy could be the one.

Not that he isn’t valuable to what the Browns could want, but he hasn’t received many targets. That’s ultimately something the Browns have to decide on.

They have other young wide receivers who have done a pretty good job to start this year. However, moving on from Jeudy would also put more attention on those guys, even if he isn’t being targeted as much as some anticipated.
