Browns potential QB target sets pro day ahead of Supplemental Draft

The Cleveland Browns now have another quarterback decision to make as they look to prepare for a quarterback battle in training camp between Shedeur Sanders and Deshaun Watson. After his announcement to throw his name into the ring of the Supplemental Draft, former Cincinnati and Texas Tech quarterback Brendan Sorsby may be throwing a wrench in the plans of the Browns.
This announcement to come into the Supplemental Draft comes after a months-long legal battle over his eligibility following a betting scandal, where Sorsby placed a multitude of bets on college football. This includes bets on his own football team during his time with the Indiana Hoosiers.
The Browns will now have a chance to get a look at Sorsby ahead of the Supplemental Draft as well.
Sorsby will look to put on a show in front of NFL teams ahead of the Supplemental Draft at his pro day, scheduled for July 10 at Carroll High School in Southlake, Texas. It is a good assumption that the Browns will likely be there in attendance.
Could he sway the minds of the decision makers in Cleveland as they sit in the first tier of the Supplemental Draft?
