Brazil projected lineup vs Scotland: Will Neymar make World Cup 2026 debut?

Brazil will aim to clinch Group C when it faces Scotland on Wednesday, June 24 in Miami.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side enters the game level on four points with Morocco after both teams collected a win and a draw in their first two matches.
Should Brazil and Morocco end tied, it would go down to goal differential because the teams tied their game against each other. Right now, Brazil has a two-goal advantage but that could change in a hurry with Morocco playing Haiti.
So Ancelotti is left with a dilemma with his lineup: go all out for the win, or rest some players knowing that Brazil has at least essentially locked up a place in the next round.
Here’s how we see Ancelotti setting up against Scotland:
Brazil projected lineup vs Scotland
Goalkeeper: Alisson
The Liverpool man continues after allowing one goal in the first two games.
Defenders: Danilo, Marquinhos, Gabriel, Alex Sandro
With Douglas Santos in danger of suspension, Alex Sandro could step in at left back.
Midfielders: Fabinho, Bruno Guimarães, Lucas Paquetá, Vinícius Júnior
Fabinho might replace Casemiro, who is also in jeopardy of suspension. Otherwise, Guimarães, Paquetá and Vinícius remain in the lineup.
Forwards: Rayan, Matheus Cunha
Cunha should get the nod again after his double against Haiti, while Rayan steps in for the injured Raphinha. Ancelotti has said Neymar is “available” for the game, so the Brazil legend could make a cameo off the bench.
