Cincinnati Bengals safety Jordan Battle picked four passes out of the air last season.
Now, perhaps in an effort to gain new perspective on rarefied air, Battle is taking his preparation to a higher level.
WDTN, Channel 2 in Dayton, reports the former third-round draft pick of the Bengals in 2023 will join the U.S. Navy Blue Angels in the cockpit of a Boeing F/A Super Hornet in the upcoming 2026 CenterPoint Energy Dayton Air Show at the Dayton International Airport.
The Blue Angels are based in Pensacola, Florida and are famous for their shows in addition to their flyovers around the “Emerald Coast” for those who have ever ventured to the Pensacola, Fort Walton, Destin beach areas. They are the best of Navy and Marine Corps aviation.
Battle is from Fort Lauderdale and won a national title with the Alabama Crimson Tide in 2020, where he was a team captain. He has played in 34 games for the Bengals with 13 starts.
The Dayton Air Show takes place June 13-14.

The 52nd Dayton Air Show will take place from Saturday, June 13 to Sunday, June 14.
