Kansas City Royals outfielder Jac Caglianone reportedly left Wednesday’s game with an apparent rib injury. Before that, the Royals star extended his on-base streak to 17 games with an infield single in the bottom of the first inning.
Caglianone was struck by a pitch near his rib area in the third inning. He stayed in the game for two more innings before pinch hitter John Rave replaced him in the fifth inning.
