HLN are reporting that Anderlecht’s Mexican international winger Cesar Huerta is set to leave the club. According to reports coming out of Mexico and confirmed by the Belgian paper, the 25-year-old, who is set to represent Mexico at the World Cup starting this week, has agreed a multi-year deal with Mexican top flight side Toluca.

Anderlecht and Toluca have not reached an agreement on a fee, but the Belgian side are said to be happy to allow the Mexican winger to leave if the fee is right. Huerta joined Anderlecht from PUMAS two seasons ago and had a decent start with a debut goal. However, injuries have hampered his time in Belgium, with the winger playing 38 matches for Anderlecht, scoring 5 times and provided 3 assists.

Anderlecht are expected to have a busy summer under new Sporting Director Antoine Sibieski. The club are looking for a new head coach and are likely to allow a number of players to leave. Anderlecht have secured European football for next season which should help with recruitment.
