Alabama football flips 2027 tight end from ACC power, analysis

Alabama football has secured its first flip of the 2027 recruiting class.
Michael Nnabuife, a three-star tight end out of Baltimore, told Alabama’s name, image and likeness collective he would flip his commitment from Syracuse to the Crimson Tide. He had been committed to the Orange since May 20.
Nnabuife is Alabama‘s seventh commitment in the 2027 recruiting class, one that includes New York three-star Oakley Keegan.

Alabama has a future wall of a tight end.
Standing at 6-foot-5, 242 pounds, Nnabuife is described as a “true Y projection,” per 247Sports, one who could pair well with a player like Keegan or four-star Mack Sutter in the 2026 class.
Nnabuife is ranked as the No. 1,028 player and the No. 53 tight end in the 2027 class, per 247Sports’ composite rankings.
