Socreates is a Socratic coding companion by Serge Zaitsev which reviews your code, challenges your decisions, but never writes code for you. A non-coding coding agent, really.
It’s made with ~1000 lines of Go with zero dependencies. It works with Ollama (local) or any OpenAI-compatible API (DeepSeek, OpenAI, OpenRouter).
