Nebraska receives commitment from defensive lineman Errol Demontagnac

Nebraska football picked up a commitment late Friday night as class of 2027 three-star defensive lineman Errol Demontagnac announced his pledge. The commitment was announced during the prospect’s official visit.

Demontagnac was also being pursued by schools such as Virginia and Florida State. The defensive lineman measures in at 6-foot-3, 290 pounds.

The Florida native is coming off a strong junior season with 87 total tackles, including 30 tackles for loss. The pass-rusher proved to be a force in that area, recording 14 total sacks and three forced fumbles for Armwood High School.

This is another strong commitment for what is a very talented 2027 class. The class itself ranks No. 18 in the country with 12 commitments, according to the Rivals Team Rankings. Six of the commitments are considered blue-chip prospects.

The program needed defensive line depth, and Demontagnac can help in that area. This could be the start of what is shaping up to be a big recruiting weekend for the program.
