Oakfield-Alabama vs Forestville score, updates from NYSPHSAA softball playoff

ROCHESTER — Just one Section V high school softball team remains.
Oakfield-Alabama will represent Section V in the NYSPHSAA regionals on Friday, June 5. Ranked No. 1 in the state, the Hornets will battle Section VI champion Forestville in a Class D quarterfinal.
The winner earns a semifinal trip to Binghamton’s Greenlight Networks Grand Slam Park on Friday, June 12. Follow below for updates all game long.

Oakfield-Alabama and Forestville are set for a 7:30 p.m. first pitch.
Where is the Oakfield-Alabama vs. Forestville regional playoff game?
Gates Chili High School, located at 1 Spartan Way, will host this regional playoff. It will follow a Class C quarterfinal between Deposit-Hancock (Section IV) and Falconer (Section VI).
Gates Chili will host four more state playoff games on Saturday, June 6. No Section V teams will compete.
Oakfield-Alabama softball information

- Playoff resume: Dominated the Section VI Class D playoffs. Defeated Pine Valley, 13-1, in the semifinals before a 16-0, championship game triumph over Maple Grove.
