Four-star wide receiver projected to commit to Nebraska

A four-star wide receiver has received a crystal ball prediction to Nebraska. Greg Smith (subscription required) has predicted that Matthew Gregory will commit to the Cornhuskers.

This prediction comes at a good time for Nebraska. Gregory canceled his weekend plans with the LSU Tigers and will visit Nebraska instead, according to a report from 247Sports’ Brian Dohn (VIP).

Gregory is a 6-0, 175-pound prospect from Owen J. Roberts High School in Pottstown, PA. He is a multi-sport athlete who has also excelled as a sprinter on the track team.

The receiver is seen as a vertical threat who can stretch the field with his speed. He’s projected as someone who can play outside the numbers.

Gregory was originally scheduled to visit Lincoln on June 19, but he moved up his visit date. Nebraska’s class of 2027 has 11 commitments and ranks 19th in the country according to the Rivals Industry Rankings.
