There’s no shortage of talent at Real Madrid. From Mbappé to Diomandé, there’s plenty of quality players.
Mourinho’s squad is sensational, including the bench. It was evident against Roma: a team capable of raising the bar in five minutes and turning a game around from two goals down. But that’s not enough for the Portuguese.
He continues to look around. One man, last night, saw him up close.
“I already knew he was good, but seeing him up close was the first time,” he told TNT Sports.
Words to praise Wesley. And a significant amount of praise. But the Brazilian is only thinking about Roma. Mourinho will have to settle for watching him from the sidelines. For a while yet.
