Houston Texans RB David Montgomery rushed 20 times for 60 yards and two touchdowns and caught three passes for 19 yards and a score in a 36-31 loss to the Houston Texans in Week 1.
Why it Matters: While Montgomery wasn’t overly efficient running the ball, he found the end zone three times and was a workhorse for the Houston backfield. The touchdown pace is obviously unsustainable, but Montgomery should continue to handle a heavy workload. Consider him a volume-based RB2.
