This weekend was a blast. It felt like forever since college football graced our television screens, and the SEC wasted no time in trying to wrangle the best conference in football back from the Big10. In week 1, every single SEC team won their season opener for the first time since 1997, when there were only 12 teams in the conference.
Kentucky did their part, knocking off FCS top-10 Youngstown State 45-13 in sweltering weather that almost certainly impacted the game. But how did the rest of the conference get the job done?
Missouri got the party started, knocking off Arkansas-Pine Bluff 54-14 on the 3rd, and the party just kept on going.

The dominance won’t continue next week because Kentucky will take on Alabama in the only SEC game next week, but there are several big games where the SEC can continue showcasing just how good the conference will be:

- Tennessee visits Georgia Tech
- Texas hosts Ohio State
