With the fall sports seasons approaching, high school volleyball begins NCHSAA competition Aug. 10, and playoffs are set to start Oct. 17 with state championships Oct. 30-31.
Last season, Gray’s Creek dominated with an undefeated Tri-County Conference record and advanced to the 6A East regional final, falling to No. 1 J.H. Rose.
Gray’s Creek, Jack Britt, and South View all housed their individual Conference Player of the Year, to sweep the award for Cumberland County schools.
