Where Pete Crow-Armstrong first heard the conspiracy that Babe Ruth never existed
Baseball players have a decent amount of down time during a game, and that can lead to some wild conversations and conspiracies.
But when it comes to baseball conspiracies, Cubs star Pete Crow-Armstrong came in strong with an objectively preposterous theory.
In a recent appearance on Let’s Be Honest with Kristin Cavallari, Crow-Armstrong was asked to share an unpopular opinion. And he said — somewhat jokingly — that he didn’t think that Babe Ruth actually existed. And he went on to explain that he mainly didn’t think this one person could have been a god of the sport given how the game has evolved.

The podcast he was referencing was a 2024 interview with Mariners pitcher Tayler Saucedo. Basically, Saucedo claimed that since he’s only seen one video of Ruth, the baseball legend probably never existed. Mind you that Babe Ruth was probably the most photographed person in America at that time. There are still living people who witnessed him play. Like, he objectively existed.
