Report: Kane snubs Barca and Al Hilal and signals Bayern renewal

Spanish champions Barcelona and Saudi Pro League top club Al Hilal have made approaches to Harry Kane about a transfer from Bayern Munich, the Sport Bild weekly said on Wednesday.
The report said that England captain Kane declined talks and rather signalled to Bayern that he is ready to renew his contract beyond 2027.
Barcelona are coached by former Bayern helmsman Hansi Flick.
Kane, 33, came to Bayern in 2023 from Tottenham Hotspur for a club record €100 million ($114 million) and has recorded 146 goals and 31 assists in 147 matches for the Bundesliga and German Cup champions.
Bayern want him to stay beyond the upcoming season which club CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen reiterated this week.
“I believe there is a strong desire on both sides. And now we need to ensure that this strong desire aligns where the two overlap,” Dreesen said.
Kane is on holiday after leading Bayern to third place at the recent World Cup, and will join Bayern’s pre-season after their upcoming week-long trip to Asia.
Bayern start the season with the German Super Cup match on August 22 against Borussia Dortmund. Their first Bundesliga match is six days later against VfB Stuttgart.
