Ashton Jeanty enjoyed a stellar collegiate career which led the Las Vegas Raiders in selecting him at No. 6 in the 2025 NFL Draft. He repaid their trust during his rookie year. The former Heisman Trophy runner-up had a solid season, showcasing his elite talent and athleticism.
Jeanty made a name for himself as an explosive talent during his days with the Boise State Broncos. However, he still left fans in disbelief on Thursday with his video dunking a basketball. The 22-year-old’s insane hops was on full display, pulling off a slam with ease.

The NFL posted the clip on X and has since been viewed more than 150,000 times. Fans dropped their reactions in the comments section.

Ashton Jeanty’s 2025 season
Jeanty didn’t waste time proving himself at the NFL level. He started all 17 games for Las Vegas in his rookie campaign, recording 266 rushing attempts. The running back finished with 975 yards and five touchdowns, along with 55 receptions for 346 yards and five scores.
The Raiders have a retooled roster and Jeanty has a chance to surpass his totals last year. He’ll have a new quarterback in Kirk Cousins and could also receive the football from Fernando Mendoza later in the season.
