Yes, it’s just NBA Summer League.
But there’s still so much good being done by the Milwaukee Bucks‘ No. 10 overall pick, Brayden Burries, and much of it points toward a potential star outcome for the one-and-done point guard from Arizona.
Burries has scored 44 points through two games while shooting 50% from 3-point range:

His most recent outing featured 26 points in a totally in-control and dominant effort in which Burries also flashed on the defensive end:

Burries is already setting the bar high, hoping to make the All-Star Game as soon as possible:

Burries was part of the group of point guards who were always expected to go after the top four of AJ Dybantsa, Darryn Peterson, Cameron Boozer and Caleb Wilson.
A case could’ve been made for Burries to go as high as No. 5, so the Bucks getting him at No. 10 was a big win for them on paper.
And on the court so far, it looks like a win, too.
