Grab your calendars — the New Orleans Saints announced that ten practice dates will be open to the public this summer between training camp, joint sessions with other teams in the preseason, and a return to Tulane’s Yulman Stadium. Local fans in and around New Orleans will have eight opportunities to see their team work at the Ochsner Sports Performance Center in Metairie before the Saints fly out for preseason road games with the Los Angeles Rams and Dallas Cowboys. Here are the dates to know:
- July 30: Open practice (Metairie, La.)
- July 31: Open practice (Metairie, La.)
- Aug. 2: Open practice (Metairie, La.)
- Aug. 3: Open practice (Metairie, La.)
- Aug. 5: Open practice (Metairie, La.)
- Aug. 8: Open practice (Metairie, La.)
- Aug. 9: Open practice (Metairie, La.)
- Aug. 13: Joint practice with Jacksonville Jaguars (Metairie, La.)
- Aug. 18: Joint practice with Dallas Cowboys (Oxnard, Calif.)
- Aug. 26: Open practice at Yulman Stadium (New Orleans, La.)
All open practices in Metairie will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 11 a.m., with gates opening at 8:15 a.m. If inclement weather forces the team to work at its indoor practice facility, practice will be closed to the public. While these sessions are free to attend, capacity is limited, and you’ll have to reserve a ticket in advance (season ticket holders get first dibs on July 13, with the general public getting access on July 14).
