Red Sox lineup: Anthony Seigler remains in leadoff spot, Romy Gonzalez at DH

CHICAGO — On the second stop of their three-city, nine-game road trip to close out the first half of the season, the Red Sox will be seeking their fourth win in a row Tuesday night.

The host Chicago White Sox are the surprise team of the American League and have compiled the second-best home mark in the AL this year, so this won’t be a pushover. This has not been an easy place for the Red Sox to play in recent seasons — they’re just 1-3-1 in their last five series here.

Overall, the Red Sox have won eight of their last 10 and 11 of their last 16 dating back to June 19.

The Sox swept the Angeles in Anaheim over the weekend and in their last seven road series are, at 23-21, owners of the second-best road record in the league.

With a win tonight, interim manager Chad Tracy can lift his own record to the .500 level for the first time since his first week on the job. The Sox are currently 30-31 since Tracy replaced Alex Cora in the final week of April.

The Red Sox will wait to see if they hear anything about the suspension hanging over Willson Contreras today. In the meantime, Contreras has been named as a replacement for the AL All-Star team, with the game a week from today in Philadelphia.
