Gillingham have signed goalkeeper Ollie Wright on a season-long loan from Southampton and fellow shot-stopper Lennon MacLorg.

Wright, 23, has been part of Saints’ age grade academy set-up since 2012 but has yet to make a first-team appearance.

He has had loan spells with National League sides Yeovil Town and Solihull Moors and, most recently, with the Gills’ fellow League Two outfit Accrington Stanley during 2025-26, keeping 12 clean sheets in 47 games.

“I’d like to say I am quite commanding, coming for crosses and taking the pressure off the back line,” Wright told the club website.

MacLorg, 20, joins Gillingham after leaving Charlton Athletic.

“I have grown up my whole life supporting this team and when I heard about it I was just buzzing to get it done,” he said.
