Video: Jamahal Hill trolls potential opponents ahead of heavyweight move

Jamahal Hill is already having fun as he prepares to jump to a new division.
The former UFC light heavyweight champion recently announced his plans to move to heavyweight on the heels of a three-fight losing skid at 205 pounds. Since defeating Glover Teixeira for a vacant UFC title in 2023, Hill has struggled with losses and injuries, and seeks a new start against the biggest and best in the promotion.
Hill is well-known for voicing his opinions and throwing shade at his rivals and he released a video on social media trolling his potential opponents Thursday. Watch the clip below.
Hill opens by showing elite eye and back-of-the-head defense, an obvious nod to interim heavyweight champion Ciryl Gane, who has recently been criticized for bending the rules in fights against Tom Aspinall and Alex Pereira. He also stands up on a stool to add a few inches to his height, which could be a reference to any number of towering heavyweights including Alexander Volkov and Tallison Teixeira.
The clip also features Hill throwing up the double birds and delivering a D-Generation X crotch chop, possibly a lampooning of controversial heavyweight contender Josh Hokit.
Hill has not fought since losing a unanimous decision to Khalil Rountree Jr. in June 2025. He is targeting late 2026 or early 2027 for his heavyweight debut.
