Lakers' summer league roster has been finalized

This Friday, the Los Angeles Lakers will play their first summer league game when they begin the California Classic in San Francisco. At 7:30 p.m. that evening, they will take on the Golden State Warriors, and on Sunday, they will play the Miami Heat. After facing the San Antonio Spurs on Monday, they will head to Las Vegas for the NBA’s main summer league, which begins for them on Friday, July 10.
The Lakers have finalized their summer league roster, and it will be headlined by Cameron Carr, the 6-foot-5 guard taken with the No. 24 pick whom they traded for last Tuesday.

Also on L.A.’s summer league roster is forward Adou Thiero, who will be going into his second pro season. Thiero, a second-round pick in 2025, was riddled with injuries this past season and didn’t play much, but he has explosive athleticism and is a fantastic finisher, not to mention a serviceable rebounder and someone who can get to the free throw line.
The undrafted free agents Los Angeles signed this year, including William Kyle III, Peter Suder, AK Okereke, Chase Ross and Robert McCray V, will be playing. Guard Chris Mañon, an undrafted free agent a year ago who came to the Lakers on a two-way contract, will also be on their summer league roster.
