The Los Angeles Dodgers have their lineup ready for a rubber match on the road against the San Diego Padres on Sunday.

The Dodgers made a statement in Saturday’s win, blowing out the Padres, 15-3. Each of the first eight batters in the lineup recorded a hit in the game, and all nine batters reached base. LA lost the first game of the series, so a victory Sunday means a series victory for the NL West leaders.

Who is Pitching for the Dodgers?

Emmet Sheehan will make the start for the Dodgers, and will hope he can break out of the rough streak he’s endured throughout June. Sheehan has a 7.31 ERA this month, and has lost all four of the games he’s started. His most recent appearance came against the Baltimore Orioles last weekend, and he allowed six earned runs through just 3.1 innings pitched.

On the year, Sheehan has a 5.32 ERA and has 76 strikeouts through 67.2 innings pitched.

Who is in the Dodgers’ Lineup?

Shohei Ohtani leads off as always for the Dodgers, and will be followed by center fielder Andy Pages, first baseman Freddie Freeman and shortstop Mookie Betts in order. Third baseman Max Muncy will occupy the No. 5 spot in the lineup, and Tommy Edman will play left field and bat sixth.

Right fielder Kyle Tucker will bat seventh and look to build on the big night he had Saturday. Second baseman Alex Freeland will move up a spot to eighth, as Chuckie Robinson steps in at catcher for Dalton Rushing.

Who is Starting for the Padres?

The Padres will field right-hander Michael King for the series finale, looking to claim the game with the best starter in their rotation. Kind has bounced back well from an injury-riddled 2025 season, posting a 3.33 ERA with 78 strikeouts so far this year.

The Dodgers have historically struggled a bit against King, but have gotten to him on multiple occasions and will look to do the same today.
