Vancouver Canucks select Michigan State forward commit at No. 33

After a night in which the Spartans saw five of their players get drafted in the first round, it did not take long for Michigan State to see another player get its name called on Saturday. Brooks Rogowski was taken with the No. 33 overall pick by the Vancouver Canucks.
Rogowski is a 6-foot-7 and 235 pound forward from Brighton, Michigan. He currently is a member of the Oshawa Generals in the OHL after a brief stint with the United States U18 National Development team. He is not expected to join Michigan State until the 2027-28 season, but as a 2008 born player, that is not the most unexpected thing.
