Nashville Predators announce 2026-27 training camp dates, preseason schedule

The Nashville Predators have announced dates for 2026-27 training camp and a four-game preseason schedule against the Carolina Hurricanes and Tampa Bay Lightning.

Training camp will begin with rookie camp on Sept. 11, followed by a rookie tournament in North Carolina on Sept. 13-14. Full training camp is set to begin on Sept. 16.

After camp opens, the Predators will play the following four-game preseason schedule:

  • Sept. 20 @ Tampa Bay Lightning (4 p.m. CT, Benchmark International Arena)
  • Sept. 22 vs Tampa Bay Lightning (7 p.m. CT, Bridgestone Arena)
  • Sept. 24 @ Carolina Hurricanes (6 p.m. CT, First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro, NC)
  • Sept. 26 vs Carolina Hurricanes (2 p.m. CT, Bridgestone Arena)

The Predators are playing only four games, down from six, in the preseason following the NHL’s move to increase the regular season schedule from 82 games to 84 games. The NHL anticipates the 2026-27 season to open in late September, two weeks earlier than its usual starting date, to accommodate a longer season.

The Predators’ regular season schedule has yet to be released.
