India Women's T20 World Cup 2026 schedule: Full fixture list, group, how to watch Harmanpreet Kaur's team

India’s women’s team arrived at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 with a point to prove in the shortest format after they won the ODI championship in 2025.
Despite reaching the semi-finals five times across the tournament’s history, the T20 title has always stayed out of reach for the Women in Blue. That changes nothing about their ambition heading into this edition, which gets underway in England from June 12 to July 5.
India made an outstanding start with back-to-back wins against Pakistan and the Netherlands by 64 runs and 95 runs respectively, taking them atop Group A.
But their streak was interrupted on June 21 as South Africa emerged victorious by six wickets. And with this defeat, the Women in Blue have two wins and one loss from their first three games and conceded the summit spot to Australia.
Despite this loss, Harmanpreet Kaur’s team is still in contention to reach the semi-finals. The upcoming group games against Bangladesh and Australia will decide India’s fate in this tournament, as only the top-two sides from each group will progress to the knockout stage.
