D’Amico to start working for Roma today

The official announcement came six days ago, but Tony D’Amico’s adventure at Roma could actually begin sooner than expected.
The Giallorossi’s statement specified that the new sporting director would take office on July 1st, but that could soon change.
According to Sky Sport, D’Amico is reportedly working with Atalanta to finalize the termination of his contract with the Bergamo club.
The goal is to complete all formalities in the next few hours and allow him to begin work at Trigoria as early as today.
A possible early arrival would be particularly important at a very delicate stage in the Giallorossi transfer market. The next few days will be crucial, especially regarding outgoing players, with Roma required to comply with the parameters set by the UEFA Settlement Agreement.
