2026 U.S. Open tee times, Rounds 1 & 2 pairings released

The 126th U.S. Opengolf tournament promises to be a test for the world’s best players beginning Thursday, June 18, at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton, N.Y.

Shinnecock Hills, known for its windy conditions and undulating greens, hosts the USGA’s premier event for the sixth time.

Defending champion J.J. Spaun returns to the field after winning his first major last year at Oakmont Country Club.

Meanwhile, world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler looks to complete the career Grand Slam by winning his first U.S. Open. He owns two Masters titles to go alongside his PGA Championship and The Open Championship crowns.

On Tuesday, the USGA released tee times and pairings for the first two rounds of the U.S. Open.

Rounds 1 and 2 will begin at 6:35 a.m. ET. First-round TV coverage is on the USA Network from 6:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Additional coverage is available from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. on Peacock and NBC Sports Network. In the second round, Peacock and NBC Sports Network provide the coverage from 6:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. NBC picks up the coverage from 1:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
