Tom Izzo comments on state of Michigan State administration

Tom Izzo isn’t one to mince words. In a time when Michigan State University just lost two of its top administrators, Spartan nation will, of course, turn to its elder statesman and Hall of Fame basketball coach, Tom Izzo, for guidance, and Izzo gave a very fiery response to what has been going on lately when asked about the recent developments on Monday.
In the span of a few weeks, Michigan State University lost President Kevin Guskiewicz and now Athletic Director J. Batt to Clemson and Kentucky, respectively. Guskiewicz cited issues with the Board of Trustees as the biggest motivator for him to decide to head out of East Lansing. MSU’s Board of Trustees has a long history of in-fighting, name-calling, and, recently, lawsuits. Previously, the pettiness seen from the Board of Trustees hadn’t led to any major impacts, but it’s hard to ignore the impact of losing two of your key administrators over it.
