Bayern Munich ready to rival Premier League teams for World Cup star Bouaddi

Bayern Munich are ready to rival Paris Saint-Germain and Premier League teams in the race to sign Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi.
Bouaddi’s brilliant World Cup debut for Morocco against Brazil has catapulted his name into the headlines. The 18-year-old was a standout as Morocco held Brazil to a 1-1 draw in their World Cup opener, just weeks after pledging his international allegiance to The Atlas Lions.
Europe’s biggest clubs are circling for the Moroccan midfielder, who is valued at around €80m. Arsenal and Liverpool have already held talks with the player’s representatives over a potential summer transfer, and Bayern Munich are now ready to make their move.
After agreeing a deal to sign Morocco teammate Ismael Saibari from PSV Eindhoven, the German champions are ready to pursue Bouaddi.
Journalist Nicolò Schira has confirmed Bayern’s interest, though Lille are in a strong position. The French side recently extended the teenager’s contract until 2029.
Bouaddi addresses transfer speculation amid Arsenal, Liverpool and Bayern interest
Earlier this week, Bouaddi downplayed talk of a transfer and said he is focused on a successful World Cup with the national team.
“For the moment I’m only focused on the World Cup, I cannot answer to this right now,” he said.
“I’m really happy to know that some clubs are interested in me but for now I’m here focused on the World Cup with Morocco and we will try to give everything to do our best.”
